For ten years I served as the Director of Business Development and Marketing for Briggs and Morgan, P.A. one of Minnesota's largest law firms.  Prior to that time, I served as the Marketing Director of Messerli & Kramer, P.A., a mid-size Minnesota law firm and as the Executive Director of the American Alliance of Creditor Attorneys (AACA), a national network of law firms jointly marketing legal collection services to major national credit grantors.

I have been successful in helping lawyers and law firms reach their goals in business development, practice development and marketing by utilizing my greatest strengths:  initiative, creativity, and organization.  I am a hands-on person who completes tasks efficiently and cost-effectively.  I am known for delivering the highest quality work product and service and have an excellent rapport with lawyers.  
 
Trade Associations and Community Involvement
 
I am an active member of the Legal Marketing Association and past president of its Minnesota chapter, the American Bar Association, ABA Law Practice Management Section, Minnesota State Bar Association, and the MSBA Practice Management and Marketing Section. 

A frequent speaker, I present practical advice on law firm marketing topics to law firms, at CLEs, through bar associations, and at the request of law schools.  
 
For many years, I have been an involved member of the nonprofit community.  After several years of committee and Board service, in 2000 I was honored to serve as President of the Minneapolis Aquatennial Association. I am also the immediate past Chair of the Aquatennial Admirals Club, the past Presidents and Commodores alumni group of the Aquatennial, and continue to serve on the Board of Directors of the Aquatennial Ambassador Organization.  I also volunteer for Minnesota ESGR (Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve), a division of the U.S. Department of Defense.
