Donna Erickson is President and founder of Erickson Marketing, Inc., a national legal marketing firm based in Minnesota. She has more than 20 years of experience as a leading business development consultant to law firms and lawyers around the country.

Donna works with law firm management to develop strategic marketing and business development goals for the firm; with practice groups to set their course to help the firm achieve its goals; and individual lawyers to identify long-term goals and short-term objectives to advance their careers. She attributes her success to experience, focus and follow-through to help firms, groups and individuals stay on track to achieve their goals.

She works effectively with attorneys by drawing upon her inside knowledge of the law office environment and how to achieve aggressive goals within that framework . Over her 20+year career, she has helped law firms and attorneys successfully increase firm revenue, build stronger relationships with existing clients, and bring in new business.

Donna is also an Adjunct Consultant to Schmidt Marketing, Inc. in candidate recruitment for law firms throughout the country.

She joined the legal marketing profession during its infancy in the late 1980s as the first marketing director of a 25-attorney law firm in Minneapolis. Among her career accomplishments, she served as Director of Marketing at Messerli & Kramer, P.A. from 1989 to 1994, and later spent 10 years as Director of Business Development and Marketing at Briggs and Morgan, P.A., now one of Minnesota's largest law firms. She founded Erickson Marketing in 2005.

Donna Erickson is a charter member of the Legal Marketing Association's (LMA) Minnesota Chapter, for which she served as President in 1999. She remains up-to-date on the latest trends in marketing the law firm, providing clients with cutting edge information on how industry leaders are adjusting to changes in the field. She frequently presents on these topics at law firms, CLEs, bar association meetings, and law schools.
